Congratulations!
We would like to acknowledge all those that took the time to nominate a teacher for Canada’s Best Teacher contest. All the teachers you told us about are awesome.
We would love to honour all nominees if we could as each teacher is very well deserving.
Based on the votes we would like to congratulate Nkese Charles-Campbell, a Grade 7-8 teacher from Brampton, Ontario.
Thanks again to all of you who participated and for sharing with us what makes your teacher amazing.
Do you know Canada’s Best Teacher?
We know that teachers are everyday heroes. Their positive contributions are felt every day, in every community across Canada, and around the world.
And never has that been more evident than now – during the COVID-19 pandemic. Right now, teachers are showing their deep commitment, creativity, and compassion as they help our children learn despite school closures.
Between May 25 and June 30, 2020 CODE is inviting Canadians from coast-to-coast to nominate and vote for Canada’s Best Teacher.
Prizes Up for Grabs
The winning teacher gets an amazing $1,000 cash prize plus a prize pack of gift certificates to benefit their school or classroom (valued at $1,000). There will also be some fun additional prizes.
Thank you to Brian Traquair for his personal support for the contest prizing.
