United Way Giving

Many workplaces across Canada participate in the United Way Workplace Campaign, but did you know that you can designate your donation to CODE through the United Way?

If your workplace participates in a United Way Workplace Campaign, you can choose CODE as your charity of choice when completing the online or paper donation form.

Here’s How:

  1. If you are filling out your form online, make sure to select “Support a specific Charity”. You will need to include the name of the charity (CODE) and the charity’s registration (BN) number. CODE’s registration number is 11883 4878 RR0001.
  2. If you are filling out a paper donation form, look for the section “Here’s how I will help my Community”. There is a box you can check, that says you want to designate your donation to another registered Canadian charity. Again, you will need to include the name of the charity (CODE) and the charity’s registration (BN) number.

If you still aren’t sure how to designate your workplace giving to CODE, reach out to your Workplace Campaign Committee. Each committee should have someone whose role it is to answer questions and help his or her fellow employees.
